This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of all services provided by PingRack, including VPS, dedicated servers, managed hosting, and colocation services. This AUP is incorporated by reference into your Terms of Service agreement with PingRack.
The purpose of this AUP is to protect the integrity and reliability of our network, ensure the security of our customers and third parties, and ensure compliance with applicable Indian and international laws. By using PingRack services, you agree to comply with this AUP at all times.
PingRack reserves the right to update this AUP at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after any such changes shall constitute acceptance of the updated AUP. If you disagree with this policy, you must immediately stop using our services.
The following activities are strictly prohibited on PingRack infrastructure. This list is not exhaustive — PingRack reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether any activity violates the spirit of this policy.
Each service plan includes specific resource allocations (CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth). You are expected to operate within these allocations. Sustained CPU usage above your allocated vCPU share on VPS plans, or bandwidth consumption that exceeds your monthly allocation, may result in temporary throttling or additional charges.
If your workload consistently exceeds your plan's resources, we will contact you to discuss upgrading to a more suitable plan. We do not bill for bandwidth overages without prior notification — when you approach your limit, we will alert you so you can upgrade before any restriction is applied.
Resource-intensive activities such as large-scale video transcoding, bulk email delivery (for legitimate purposes), or high-traffic web services must be discussed with our team in advance. We are happy to accommodate demanding workloads with appropriate plan configurations.
PingRack actively monitors our network for traffic patterns and activities that may violate this AUP. We use automated systems and manual review to detect abuse. Upon identifying a potential violation, we will:
Emergency suspensions (without prior notice) are reserved for situations where continued operation poses an immediate risk to our network, other customers, or third parties. We will notify you of the reason for suspension as soon as practicable.
Account termination due to AUP violations does not entitle you to any refund. PingRack shall not be liable for any damages arising from service suspension or termination due to AUP violations.
If you observe any activity on PingRack infrastructure that you believe violates this AUP — including spam, phishing, DDoS, or illegal content — please report it promptly to our abuse team. We take all reports seriously and investigate every legitimate complaint.
To report abuse, send an email to abuse@pingrack.com with as much detail as possible, including the offending IP address, date and time of the incident, description of the activity, and any supporting logs or screenshots. We will acknowledge your report within 24 hours and provide an update within 48 hours.
For urgent matters such as active DDoS attacks originating from our network, please contact our emergency NOC line available 24/7. We are committed to maintaining a clean, responsible network and appreciate the community's help in identifying abuse.
